How do I order online?
Simply click the Add to Cart button found on every product page. You may continue to add items to your basket until your order is complete. Click on “View chart” to return to your shopping cart from any product page on the site. Click the “Check out” orange button and enter your shipping location.
Click the Continue button to select your shipping method, enter your shipping address and billing address (Please note, the billing address must match the address where your credit card statement is sent.)
Click the Next Step button to review your order. Finally click "Pay Via PayPal" to complete the order and go to PayPal to pay using your credit card.
Will I have to pay customs fees on my international order?
Your order may be charged customs fees (taxes, duties, processing fees, brokerage fees, etc.) when they arrive. Unfortunately, Ootte has no control over these fees. If you are not familiar with the customs laws and fees in your country, please check with your local customs office for more information. Also, because we are a retail store, we are NOT able to mark orders as 'Gifts' for customers to avoid paying these fees.
What are your accepted payment methods?
All prices listed on our website are in U.S. Dollars. We accept PayPal. No problem if you do not have a Paypal account. You can pay by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express using PayPal. Please ensure that your billing and shipping addresses are exactly correct, to avoid delays in order processing. Incorrect information may cause a delay in the processing of your order. Your order may also be delayed if additional verification of billing information is necessary.
Do you offer quantity discounts?
We do offer discounts for higher-quantity orders. Generally, these are orders where the quantity for a certain particular item is 20 or more, for products like Gadgets (laser pointers, Photon lights, watches, etc.), Electronics products, Cube goodies and other toys. The delivery time for higher-quantity orders might be longer than normal, but would probably not exceed 2 weeks in most cases.
If you would like a custom quote, please contact bulk@ootte.com and tell us what product(s) you are interested in and the quantity you would like. Also, please specify the date that you need to have the product(s).
One last thing to note is that we require all orders to be pre-paid.
Do you offer logo imprinting?
We also offer custom logo imprinting of your company logo (or clever saying or binary code or whatever) on certain products. This usually requires a minimum order of 100 units. The delivery time will typically be about 4-6 weeks. Please contact orders@ootte.com if you would like a custom quote for logo imprinting.
Do you offer customized item?
Yes. Please visit our custom-made session to select an unique customized item. Send the image or picture (in .jpg format) you want us to print on the item to custom-made@ootte.com after completed the checkout process.
Do you have some general shipping information?
Most shipments leave our warehouse within 1-2 business days of placing your order. However, during times of heavy order volume (especially November and December), orders normally ship within 3-5 business days of when they were placed. All shipping transit times quoted are business days (Monday-Friday), not calendar days.
We provide Registered Mail and/or SpeedPost by Hong Kong Postal Service. Your package will usually arrive within 7-10 business days using the Registered Mail or within 3-5 business days using SpeedPost service. You will receive the tracking number in your shipping confirmation e-mail. You will probably be charged import taxes and fees for your order - please check with your customs office if you are unsure of these fees.
Do you ship to PO Boxes?
Sorry we do not ship to PO Boxes.
How much is shipping?
It depends on what you are ordering and what shipping method you choose. The shipping cost per item is indicated in each product description. Add an extra $2 for Registered Mail or $28 for SpeedPost. For example, if the shopping cost of your smartly chosen item(s) is $5. The total shipping charges will be $7 for using Registered Mail or $33 for using SpeedPost.
You can also get the shipping cost during checkout - you will need to fill out your shipping address in order to view the shipping options and cost.
Will I have to pay customs fees on my order?
Your order will probably be charged customs fees (taxes, duties, processing fees, brokerage fees, etc.) when it arrives. The shipping charges you pay to Ootte do NOT include customs fees, import taxes, brokerage fees, or duties. If you refuse to pay the customs fees when your order arrives, the shipment will be returned to us and we will be charged the customs fees plus return shipping costs. Therefore, we do not issue refunds for customs fees, shipping, or the cost of your order if you refuse to pay the customs fees.
Unfortunately, Ootte has no way of estimating customs fees, taxes, duties, etc. Please contact your local customs office if you need to know more.
It is possible that the delivery of your order could be delayed due to customs processing. If your order does not arrive in a reasonable amount of time, you should check with your local customs office to see if they are holding the package for payment of fees. Also, some customs offices will send a separate invoice for your customs fees that could arrive several weeks after you receive your shipment.
Why isn't my country in your list?
We have chosen not to ship to some countries for a variety of reasons (our carriers do not deliver there, we have products that cannot be easily shipped to these countries or we have had a high rate of fraudulent orders coming from these countries). We appreciate your interest in Ootte, and we would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
